Save the Date for Bringing Hope by the Scoop!  July 13, 18 & 27

Help fill our bookshelves by donating books during one of our three events at Mitchell’s and receive a free scoop of ice cream!

Hope is contagious.  That’s why we’re hosting ‘Bringing Hope by the Scoop’ for the second year in a row to pass on even more hope to urban and refugee students enrolled in our tutoring ministry and their families.  On one of the dates listed below, bring any NEW school-age children’s book to Mitchell’s Ice Cream and receive a free scoop of Cleveland’s favorite, Mitchell’s Homemade Ice Cream.

The book collection is part of ‘Every Story Matters,’ which provides tools and resources to our five urban tutoring locations each school year.  Help restock the ‘Little Free Libraries’ at these locations, and the best part – the students will receive books to take home and keep to continue practicing their reading skills.

Visit our Amazon ‘Wish List’ of recommended books here.  Note:  If you order through Amazon, unless you change the shipping option, the book(s) will automatically be shipped to our office.  Change the shipping address to your home, but if you forget, we’ll have a record of who has ordered books to make sure you receive your free scoop of ice cream.

When and Where:
Thursday, July 13 Mitchell’s Ice Cream in Ohio City
1867 West 25th St., Cleveland

Tuesday, July 18 Mitchell’s Ice Cream in Beachwood
2101 Richmond Rd. at LaPlace, Beachwood

Thursday, July 27 Mitchell’s Ice Cream in Rocky River
19700 Detroit Rd., Rocky River

All events take place from 6:30 – 8:00 pm.

Note:  The free scoop is one per donor. For example, if a family of five comes in with one book, they get one coupon. If each person in the family brings a book, they each get a coupon. Donors will only receive one free scoop of ice cream total and cannot bring a book to each event and receive a scoop on each night.
