Citizenship Teaching Teams

To meet the needs of the many more refugees and immigrants seeking citizenship, BHITC plans to add additional citizenship classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning this spring at its offices in Ohio City at 2038 West 29th Street.

Teams of volunteers are needed to help teach these classes.  Minimum requirements for this volunteer opportunity include taking a Refugee 101 class, and it’s preferred to have also spent time working cross-culturally, such as through serving as a refugee mentor.

Those interested should contact Sharon Schuldt, BHITC’s Director of Ministry Engagement at or by calling 216.281.4673.
