BHITC cultivates new and expanded approaches to urban ministry by equipping and developing city ministry leaders in the following ways:
- – Convening collaborations across congregations focused on mission advancement
- – Supporting the incubation and start-up of new urban congregations and ministries
- – Providing training and mentoring processes for future pastors and ministry catalysts through the Transform216 initiative
- – Conducting volunteer discipleship and deployment
- – Hosting public training sessions in church and ministry leadership
