$28,000 in 28 Days: A campaign to expand Common Threads
Building out the store to build into people
BHITC’s first business, Common Threads Thrift, has had an incredible first two years of operation in Fairview Park — from being named “Best Thrift Store” in Cleveland by Scene Magazine readers two years in a row to providing employment for 30 people — the organization’s efforts to merge employment and marketplace businesses continue to yield amazing, God-honoring results.
In 2019, Common Threads is expanding its impact through these efforts:
Store Expansion – 1,625 square feet added! ($20,000)
Renovate the adjacent empty store to expand our current store space, creating a new flex space for community events and dedicated space for furniture.
Complete Necessary Funding for a Cargo Van ($5,000)
Complete existing funding to purchase a cargo van that will provide a cost-effective and fuel-efficient means of doing smaller donation pick-ups.
Retail Technology Upgrades ($3,000)
Invest in IT infrastructure and equipment, allowing the store to operate more productively.
Give to this effort!
BHITC seeks to raise $28,000 for Common Threads in the 28 days of February. Please consider making a donation to help meet this goal! To make a tax-deductible donation, please CLICK HERE to make a gift online.
After you make your donation, you will be invited to an exclusive Common Threads donor event in early April that will include an exclusive tour of the new space and special store discounts! Don’t miss out—we hope to see you there!
