It’s Christmas Store season again at BHITC!

Help bless urban families this Christmas season.  This year, BHITC partners with Scranton Road Bible Church to serve families connected to both parties in the Clark-Fulton and Stockyards neighborhoods – which BHITC has targeted for its housing and community development efforts.

By combining efforts, the Christmas Store is expected to serve approximately 200 kids in the neighborhoods.

When:  Saturday, December 7

Where:  Scranton Road Bible Church

Thanks to you, parents of children in Scranton Road and BHITC’s ministry programs will be able to afford new gifts at a fraction of the retail cost at our one-day Store!  Families BHITC serves through tutoring, urban church plant and other ministry areas will be invited to shop at the store. Your support this year will have an even greater impact on urban families in Cleveland!

You can make a difference in the lives of urban families by:

  • Donating new toys such as remote-control vehicles, board games, super heroes, dolls, and more. You can also shop the Christmas Store’s Amazon wishlist here and ship toys directly to BHITC’s offices:
  • Making a tax-deductible financial donation on our website. (Link coming soon!)
  • Organizing a toy drive at your church or workplace. Call us or email Sharon Schuldt at sharon@buildinghopeinthecity.org for resources or assistance!
  • Volunteering to make this event happen through set up of the store, pricing toys, working at the Store and tearing it down (times and dates vary between Dec. 1 – 7).  Contact Sharon Schuldt about available volunteers slots at sharon@buildinghopeinthecity.org.

Toys can be mailed or dropped off at Building Hope in the City (2038 W. 29th St. – Cleveland OH 44113) Monday through Friday from 10 am to 4:00 pm, Nov. 1 to Dec. 2.
