Education enrichment and tutoring for the fall of 2020 will take place both virtually and in-person in small groups beginning late September. Join us for one of the orientation sessions here to learn more about how you can impact an urban or refugee student this school year. You are needed now more than ever! You will have the option to do whichever format of tutoring you are most comfortable with. This is a 1-2 hour a week commitment based on your schedule and the student’s needs. Email Eloy (listed below) for more information on this opportunity.
Students as young as 8th grade can volunteer as tutors – and of course adults, too! Volunteers will work one-on-one with students doing education enrichment and build important relationships with them. All volunteers must attend BH 101 to begin serving as a tutor and complete a background check.
If you have questions, contact Eloy Gonzalez at firstname.lastname@example.org.
