Beginning in the fall of 2019, BHITC will partner with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District to support one or two elementary schools in the Clark/Fulton and Stockyards neighborhoods. These two neighborhoods are part of the organization’s strategic focus in these communities over the next 10 years.
Many daytime volunteers are needed and possibly evening. Volunteers will work one-on-one with students doing education enrichment and other opportunities such as mentoring and praying for the school and students are also expected. More details will be available in early July.
New tutor training sessions will be held in August with the anticipated start date for BHITC’s program in mid-September. To let us know you may be interested, please contact Corrie Purdum at email@example.com.
