Storied Cities Podcast

A podcast about the stories our cities tell and the stories we tell about our cities.

Listen now!

We sit down with people across the vocational spectrum—ministry and nonprofit workers, thought leaders, small business owners, artists, neighbors—and discuss the ways they are learning to love the place they live and the people who reside within it. Originating in Cleveland, OH and brought to you by Building Hope in the City, we exist to foster new narratives about the places we live. Narratives full of trust, life and hope.

Four episodes launched late August – one launch episode and three interviews with folks from Canton, Akron and Cleveland. After the initial launch, one episode will launch every other week. Check it out!

An innovative partnership with Renew Communities in Berea brings Anthony Giambroni on staff with BHITC for a year as Coordinator of Community Development. In his role, he focuses largely on building relationships in Cleveland’s Stockyards and Clark/Fulton neighborhoods, which is where he and his wife hope to move and plant at church in the future.

Additionally, Anthony is partnering with BHITC along with several area non-profits as part of Nehemiah Collaborative to create a podcast series about urban life, neighborhoods and ministries. Called “Storied Cities,” the podcast will consist of interviews with people doing good work in an urban context.
