BHITC cultivates new and expanded approaches to urban ministry by equipping and developing city ministry leaders in the following ways:

  • – Convening collaborations across congregations focused on mission advancement
  • – Supporting the incubation and start-up of new urban congregations and ministries
  • – Providing training and mentoring processes for future pastors and ministry catalysts through the Transform216 initiative
  • – Conducting volunteer discipleship and deployment
  • – Hosting public training sessions in church and ministry leadership
