Every quarter, Common Threads hosts a special event like Ladies Night Out or a season-themed party. We need someone who likes to put on a great shin-dig! You will work with staff and other volunteers to plan details of the event and then work to implement those plans up through the night of the event.
Time Commitment: Fits around your schedule. Planning generally starts 1.5 months out from the date of an event at about 1-2 hours per week and goes up to 10 hours the week of the event.
Number needed: 1-2 volunteers. Either one person or two people who enjoy working and planning together for events.
Need to be at the store: NO! This can be planned from home but will require occasional trips to the store to touch base with staff and especially to get things ready during the day or two before the event.
