Volunteers are the heart of Building Hope in the City (BHITC)! Hundreds of volunteers find exciting ways to serve God and bless the city of Cleveland through our ministries, service events, cross-cultural experiences and free or low-cost training sessions. As a result, thousands of people experience transformation personally, economically, spiritually and relationally.
The first step to volunteering with BHITC is to attend a ‘Building Hope 101’ session, which is a one-hour introduction to the organization. You will learn about our mission and ministries and find ways to use your God-given gifts and talents to love people in the city for Christ. Building Hope 101 is offered once a month on varying days of the week to make it convenient for most schedules.
