Building Hope in the City | Cleveland
Cleveland is full of potential, and it begins with people.
About Us
BHITC works to foster the flourishing of city residents and neighborhoods in Cleveland. It grew out of a city congregation in 2003 and has since pioneered faith-driven approaches to delivering flexible, person-driven programming at the community level.
BHITC excels at bridging and activating partners across faith, public and business sectors to build the capacity of underserved communities. It strives to give a tangible witness to God’s empowering and reconciling love for all people.
Programs and initiatives include: refugee and immigrant integration; community renewal and affordable housing; social enterprise ventures and leader development. Through its staff, volunteers and partners, BHITC makes faith tangible to more than 3,300+ people annually.
