Refugees & Immigrants
Welcoming the refugees and immigrants among us points to their God-given dignity and our need for mutual relationships with diverse people.
Why?
We befriend refugees and immigrants because of our faith in Jesus, who told us to not only welcome strangers but also treat them as though they are family. Furthermore, this community brings beautiful and needed culture and diversity, economic gain, an entrepreneurial spirit and strong work ethic to our city and region.
Where
The Hope Center for Refugees and Immigrants, located in Cleveland’s West Park neighborhood, is our satellite hub for refugees and immigrants in the Greater Cleveland area.

Our Approach:
The Hope Center is much more than a place for operating programs – it gives refugees and immigrants a place to belong, where they become part of a larger “family” of newcomers. We partner with refugees and immigrants at The Hope Center to provide community connections, family mentorship, employment, immigration counsel, after-school enrichment and tutoring – as well as human connections for daily life. Over 250 refugees and immigrants served each week.
