Did you know... There is a growing movement in the Clark/Fulton and Stockyards communities around planting and cultivating sustainable foods through urban agriculture, which includes gardens big and small, farms and even fruit orchards!?!? We’ve loved being part of installing three fruit orchards over the last two years, and this year, we’re launching Hope Grows as our micro-farms initiative in partnership with local nonprofit, Hope for Futures, and you are invited to serve as we install two gardens in May!
Why is it important to add gardens and micro farms to an under-resourced area? It reduces food insecurity, provides low-cost, healthy food options and creates unity within the community as people come together to care for each other in this way.
Volunteers to install a garden over the weekend of May 21 and 22 are needed. Details below -
Shalom & Tranquility Garden (3789 W 39th St, Cleveland)
Saturday, May 21 from 9 am - 3 pm (or)
Sunday, May 22 from 1 - 5 pm

Thanks for helping to strengthen city neighbors and neighborhoods, one family, one street, one lot or one garden at a time. This is what God's restorative power looks like through the Body of Christ.
