Meet Cheryl, who came to Common Threads five years ago because she wanted a better work environment and she felt like God was leading her in that direction.

She was working at the Subway in Fairview Park when she saw that Common Threads was planning to open their first location nearby. She found out that it was run by a faith-based organization and felt like God was drawing nearer to her and wanting her to draw nearer to the Christian community. Cheryl experienced some trials in the past five years, and the Common Threads family was able to come around her and to show the Lord’s goodness.

Customers love Cheryl because she goes on mission with them to find that special treasure they are looking for, so much so, she will search in the back herself to see if the treasure was in the backroom. Cheryl is proud to work for Common Threads and to be a part of giving back to the local community. Common Threads is proud to have such a wonderful person as part of the team!

"Our mission is simple as Christians, it’s helping others. So whether it’s at BHITC or here at Common Threads, we all do our part. Everyone at Common Threads is like family, and I know this because they have been there for me when my father, two brothers-in-law, and most recently, my husband in February 2020, passed away. The power of prayer and their kindness has helped me through some rough spots. Working for a company that puts God first is the best." - says Cheryl
